A Associated Presbyterian Churches (APC), the little Scottish denomination (by having a few representation withinside Canada & Just released Zealand), were formed in 1989 from either section of the community of the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland. the section occurred because of a continuing difference on top Liberty of Conscience (when defined in the Westminster Confession of Faith), which came to a head across the attendance of Lord Mackay of Clashfern at the requiem mass which formed section of the funeral of a colleague.
A largest of their congregations come within Inverness and Stornoway.
